Rich Granoff

Co-Founder & CEO

Richard Granoff is the Founder and Managing Principal of Granoff Real Estate (“GRE”). As one of the rare architect/developers, Rich has applied his 40-year career as head of the leading architectural firm in Greenwich, CT towards building a successful real estate development company as well. 

Rich began his real estate development career in 1998 by partnering with his clients. GRE has completed dozens of projects, with many more currently active developments.  The company focuses on transit-oriented mixed-use and multi-family projects. Sustainability, Affordability and Adaptive Reuse are the pillars of GRE. The company deploys a “build and hold” strategy to invest in properties for the long run.  

Granoff Architects (“GA”) was founded in 1989 and has grown into a thriving design studio with over 30 professionals.  The firm has a unique interdisciplinary design approach, providing services in architecture, landscape architecture and interior design. GA’s client list includes Related, Hines and Tishman Speyer; as well as many regional/local real estate developers. In addition, the firm has many financial services clients that include Chase Bank, BNY Mellon and L Catterton. Rich is a registered architect in the states of CT, NY, NJ, FL, TN and RI. He is also a LEED-accredited professional, focused on sustainable building practices and green design. 

Mr. Granoff’s accomplishments have been widely recognized. He has appeared in the national media in programs such as Good Morning America, High Net Worth, and MTV Cribs. He has won dozens of awards and his work has been featured in numerous publications. Rich earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Syracuse University School of Architecture and recently established the Richard S. Granoff Endowed Scholarship Fund at his alma mater, where he also serves on the Advisory Board. 

Rich is very active in community affairs. He currently serves on the boards of Kids in Crisis, ONS Foundation, the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and the Chabad of Greenwich. In prior years, Rich was a board member of the American Red Cross, the Rock Ridge Association and the Whitby School.  Rich received the “Light a Fire” Award from Greenwich Magazine in recognition of his local philanthropic endeavors.

Jill Granoff

Co-Founder & CIO

Jill co-founded Granoff Real Estate in 1998 with her husband Rich Granoff to leverage her business acumen and investing skills with his architectural expertise and real estate knowledge. Together they have deployed capital in dozens of residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings to drive value creation and wealth generation.

Jill is an accomplished executive with over 30 years’ experience in private equity, executive leadership and management consulting.  She is currently Managing Partner of Eurazeo, a global listed investment firm in France with $35 billion in assets under management, and CEO of its Brands division which she launched in 2017 to invest in high growth consumer and retail brands. Eurazeo Brands today has 12 portfolio companies with a net asset value of nearly $1 billion. 

Before joining Eurazeo, Jill was the CEO of Vince, where she led its IPO in November 2013 achieving a $1 billion market cap. Prior to this role, she was the CEO of Kellwood Company and Kenneth Cole Productions. Earlier in her career, she held executive positions at Estee Lauder, Victoria’s Secret and Liz Claiborne, where she had global responsibility for Kate Spade, Juicy Couture and Lucky Brand.  Jill has executed hundreds of real estate transactions in the context of her retail leadership roles and had oversight for over 1000 retail store locations.

In addition to her operating roles, Jill has extensive board experience. She is currently a Director of Macy's Inc. and previously served on the boards of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (global mall developer), Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud), Cosmetic Executive Women and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is also a board member at several Eurazeo Brands’ portfolio companies, including NEST, Beekman 1802, Q Mixers and Jaanuu.

Jill started her career as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and her MBA from Columbia Business School where she was awarded the Lawrence A. Wien fellowship for academic excellence.

Jake Granoff

VP of Development

Jake is a licensed architect with a Masters of Real Estate Development from NYU's Schack Institute. His comprehensive architecture background and newly acquired finance and business skills make him uniquely qualified for this position. Jake currently works for a real estate developer focusing on class A hospitality projects in the mid-west and NYC regions. He manages the development process for multiple projects and is the CEO’s right hand man. As part of GRE, Jake is involved with pro-forma modeling, design development, due diligence and project management for multi-family and mixed-use projects in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Jake's academic journey at NYU included coursework in financial investments and analysis, capital markets, finance and economics, valuation and feasibility, public-private development, entrepreneurship and innovation, land use and environmental regulations, ESG and sustainability, RE legal principles, and the development process. His dual concentration in Business & Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, coupled with his role as the Co-Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee and Editor for Blueprint, NYU’s real estate publication, reflects his commitment to sustainable practices in the real estate industry.

Before his foray into real estate development, Jake worked for four years at Morris Adjmi Architects in NYC, most recently as Project Architect. In this role, he gained extensive experience in commercial and residential mixed-use developments as well as ground-up and renovation projects. Jake co-led a one million square feet life science development in Boston, managed the construction administration for a hotel-to-office conversion in NYC, and executed the documentation for a 730-unit apartment complex in Brooklyn. His experience extends to assembling approval documents for coordination with NYC's Department of Buildings, Landmarks Preservation Commission, and the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP).

Noah Granoff

Director of Content Creation

Noah Granoff is a professional photographer based in the New York metropolitan area. He has traveled to over 30 countries to capture breathtaking imagery and develop a diverse portfolio of landscape and architectural photography. In doing so, he established a strong reputation in the design and real estate community, especially for his compelling drone work. Noah’s studies at the International Center of Photography, Pratt University, and the School of Visual Arts have helped form the foundation for his work. 

Noah has been inspired by multiple architects in his life including his father, his older brother, and his sister-in-law. He spent multiple years documenting architectural design and real estate among a variety of commercial, residential, and multi-family housing properties throughout Westchester County, Fairfield County, and even projects in Rhode Island and Florida. Noah captures the essence of buildings and properties through the use of advanced techniques in photography and post-processing. His passion and dedication to his craft can be seen throughout all of his photographs.
