Lauderdale Lofts is a Historic Adaptive Reuse project located in downtown Providence, RI. The “Lauderdale Building” was built in 1894 as an office building. After years of neglect, GRE purchased the building and began a gut-renovation of the six-story structure. The exterior has been restored, with new windows and repointed brick. The interior spaces have been converted to 24 luxury apartments. The ground floor tenant lobby has been restored, and there is 6,000 s.f. of retail/restaurant space. The Historic Tax Credit program has been utilized, working closely with RI SHPO. The Building was completed in Summer of 2026.
